About Casair Broadcasting

In the 2007-2008 school year, under Casair's umbrella company, Casair in conjunction with CMPS (Central Montcalm Public School) has put together a pilot program to broadcast or record events. This is done both pre-recorded or live and over Internet or FM radio. This will include Internet Audio/Radio, Internet Video/TV, FM radio or a combination. Casair is providing the equipment, data transport and technical expertise. Casair has two school-to-work employees involved; Michael Ruggles Jr. is handling the technical aspect and Chelsea Smith is handling coordination and calling the shots. They are being assisted by Kevin Wagenmaker's Multimedia class handling media and pre-recorded interviews with Sheena Sander's English class handling scripting and interview questions. Casair is excited to provide the students with experience, and also provide community with media that otherwise would not be available.

In 2009 we have been donating time and equipment to various events and have added live TV via Internet along with recording and making DVDs for later purchase.

Events

CMUE 6th Grade Camp Fundraiser

Casair will be recording at the Central Montcalm Elementary School 6th Grade Camp Fundraiser at the CMUE in Stanton on May 1st. Admission is $2.00 or $1.00 for students. Concessions open at 5:30PM. Participate for $10 per person per act. Groups of 5 or more are $50. Casair will provide full sound system and video recording. DVDs of the event will be available for $15 with 100% of the sales going to the camp effort.

Montcalm County Board Meeting

Casair provided complete audio system and operation that included 12 microphones and sound for two rooms of the Montcalm County Board meeting. Three TV stations and one FM station attended the meeting. Fox 17 News, WZZM TV 13 and GVSU 88.5/93.5 FM received line audio feeds directly from Casair's audio mixer. WOOD TV 8 News and Henry Erb also attended.

CMPS Educational Showcase

Casair will be broadcasting the Central Montcalm School Educational Showcase at 6:00PM live on Ustream.tv here. A low bandwidth audio only stream will be available here. The program will be recorded for later viewing also available on Casair's Ustream.tv page here.

Sheridan Elementary Christmas Program

Casair donated equipment and time to broadcast the 2008 Sheridan Elementary Christmas Program live on Ustream.tv here. The program was recorded for later viewing also available on Ustream.tv here. DVDs of the program are available for $5.00. You may call 989-831-8800, email sales@casair.net, or stop in at Casair's office in Stanton. You may also have it mailed in a DVD package for an additional $3.00. We accept all major credit cards. The money is to cover DVD supplies and any extra money goes towards additional audio equipment.

CMPS Invitational Event

Casair donated PA equipment and anouncer for CMPS Central Montcalm Public School's Middle School Invitational Event.

CMPS Hornet Run Cross Country Invitational Event

Casair donated PA equipment and anouncer for CMPS Central Montcalm Public School's Hornet Run Cross Country Invitational Event. The results are available here.

Miss Dee's School of Dance Spring Dance Recital

Casair multi-camera and audio recorded the event. After processing the master were given to Miss Dee where she utilized the data for here DVDs that were available for purchase. See http://www.missdeesdance.net/ for more information.

CMPS Spring Concert

Casair donated time and equipment for the Middle School and High School Event providing full audio in the High School Gym.

Central Montcalm Vs. Tri-County

Live Broadcast from Fifth Third Ballpark Wednesday May 21st, 2008 at 6pm Central Montcalm Vs. Tri-County Varsity. Will also available locally on WDLP FM 93.1.

We Love America Parade

Friday May 23rd, 2008 WLAP (We Love America Parade) at 11am High School Football Field. Casair is providing the Sound System and the team is planning on recording DVDs. It may be broadcast on FM at a later time TBD.
