is Broadband Wireless?
Wireless broadband Internet access uses many
frequency bands. Wieless broadband radios offer similar performance
to cable modems operating over wired cable television systems
(CATV), but access is easier because the transmitters cover an
entire city region
A broadband wireless system can deliver up to 11 Mbps data capacity.
The wireless system's strength is that it can quickly provide
high burst speed Internet access depending on the frequency band
used. This allows us, the service provider, to work with or compete
with CATV to serve homes, small-sized and medium-sized business
and high-end users. The CATV coaxial-cable provider typically
services non rural residential neighborhoods and may not serve
all potential customers due to cost of installing cable into certain
regions.
