WiMax Now in Vestaburg and Surrounding AreasWednesday September 30th, 2009More WiMax! We now have WiMax service available from our Vestaburg Tower. Casair is the first provider to offer FCC 3.65Ghz WiMax in Montcalm, Gratiot, Mecosta, and Isabella counties. We have once again started taking on new customers on this tower and ask that you are with 14 miles from Vestaburg and are interested in receiving service that you call or email our office. Don't delay being added to our install list. The first step is to talk to Mac in our sales department to setup a site survey.
This also expands our coverage area greatly. As customer appreciation we are upgrading existing 900Mhz customers free of charge that can receive the new WiMax service. Additional speeds will be offered soon.
New Stanton to Greenville FiberFriday September 4th, 2009Casair has completed the final phase of underground fiber installation from Stanton To Greenville. The fiber project enables gigabit transport from our Stanton NOC (Network Operations Center) to CMPS (Central Montcalm Public Schools), CMPS to MCC (Montcalm Community College), and MCC to Greenville. The fiber gives us more transport bandwidth from our Stanton NOC to all of our towers. This allows for additional internet backbone access to handle our rapid growth. The fiber also allows us to provide gigabit transport for Montcalm Area Intermediate School District's three main locations; the Stanton Office, Montcalm Area Career Center in Sidney, and Seiter Center in Greenville. This fiber also improved MCC growing Internet needs. The installation of fiber also included our first FTTH (Fiber To The Home) customer and Montcalm County's first true FTTH installation. New WiMAX InstallationsSaturday August 1st, 2009WiMAX is here! After months of product testing, training and deployment we have began installing customers on WiMAX gear. This allows us to service customers that were previously unable to receive a usable signal. This will also improve our level of service, expand our offering options and supports voice traffic or VOIP.
Casair has a license from the FCC to operate in the 3.65Ghz semi-licensed Spectrum. This allows Casair to operate without interference giving a higher level of speed and better coverage.
